Review Turkey – Safiren´s Corner

Turkey is a very interesting server. COF has superiority but for once one of the invited domains, Poland, is clearly visible both on ranks and on map. Taiwan (China) is also visible and I have some suspicions about their choice of area.

A month ago I had an interview with a player from Turkey. As it turned out that interview sorted out to be a bit controversial and the response from COF have been intense ingame.

As that interview was done when the forums was closed you can read it here: Error interview to be open hearted can have its consequences. But since I’m a journalist I think everyone has right to tell his mind. And it is those interviews that is the most interesting – isn’t it? ^^

With this introduction we have the background, though I think that wars would have been in progress in any case. Turkey server is a bit outstanding in many ways. It’s not a server for simmers.

COF and allied dominates both NE and NW. As we will see they are determined to challenge the Russians in next Final.

Interview with Emirhan Vardar, COF

Question: You are the Qualification server with most players 5.500. That means this is the hardest server to get an invite to Final. You need 4400 in pop which is double compared to International (2200), nearly three times as much as Russia (1600), 4 times as much as the rest (1100). It is the same if you compare off and def points. Here you need 3-6 times more points than on the other servers.

That means your server is the most active. Why it is so? What differs your server from the rest?

Answer:

I think it’s a very nice thing. Competition among players will be so great that only the best will qualify for the finals. We have organised this in order to determine the ” Best of ” in the name of the ongoing server.

The fact is that the COF community last year’s achievements have made the players more enthusiastic and therefor Turkey is more crowded than the other servers. Before the COF came, the Turks had failed. We changed this and the Turkish people have a new hope. Everyone has come to terms for a World Wonder to be established in the Finals.

As always, the COF will continue to lead the Turkish troops. If we gain momentum, we will strive to win as a result. Last year no one expected such a performance from the Turks.

More than 3,000 Turks will come to the stage …

Safiren: You have allys on other quals too?
Emirhan Vardar: Of course, this is a strategy game as much as it is a war game. I think next Final will be the greatest server in history.

Question: If I look on the minimap there are three visible clusters, COF, PS and NB. Is your NAP with Poland still working? Your opinion about them? Do Turkey cooperate with China? Or do you? And are your relations to Turkey in progress? Who are the ally TUNA? S&S, Sahmaran? They have WWs in the Gray zone.

Answer: Currently, COF is the elimination dynamic power.

We are allied with COF + TUNA + SAHMARAN + SS + CAHRA + USTALAR + ADAMUS on the Great Turkish Union.

We are fighting with the TURKEY team. Their work is over, they are very weak now. The actors who are torn down and declared their independence from Turkey join us.
We had a NAP with Poland but we are fighting with them. We started a war like this without any reason. The server needs the power of the 2 most powerful units. It gives us happiness to fight a strong rival in the qualities.

Emirhan Vardar: What is your guess about the ultimate end of this war?

Safiren: I think it’s good you have decided to fight, even if it is tempting to sim trough the qual – a qual is for distinguish the skilled players from the big mass. But on the other side I didn’t expect anything else from the tr qual ^^
Poland have practice cluster and if their communication works it can be a hard nut to crack. Crosswise war are not easy. Maybe your allied SAHMARAN in NW have to take a big part in that war.

I think Poland can give you a better resistance than the other guest you have had on tr qual but numbers are of as great importance as skills. COF has the upper hand.

Turkey

The ally Turkey is situated in SW. Here we also find Adamus, an ally of players that have abandoned Turkey. The blue spot is NB, China, in a cluster and my opinion is that they work together with COF. If so the operation above was a long term plan from beginning.

Poland

A neat cluster well formed and they have a WW now. Not -100/-100 as you could expect.. -100/0 is the one. Interviews with Poland is in progress but not edited for approval yet. I wish them good luck!
